Sian Ka’an, the real Jungle Tour!
Today we are going to talk about the Mayan jungle, there’s a place in the Riviera Maya called Sian Ka’an, a biosphere reserve in Tulum. It was established in 1986 and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
What can I see in Sian Ka’an?

But this is not everything, in the middle of the jungle, you can find an archeological site called Muyil, and know more about the Mayan culture. Part of the reserve is on land and part is in the Caribbean Sea, including a section of coral reef. The reserve has an area of 5,280 km2
Thanks to the fact that it is a protected area, everything is well conserved and the variety of wild life is huge! This is something you have to remember so when you go , please try to reduce your impact!
