Day 1: Arrival
Pick up at Cancun Airport and transfer with comfotable transport to Tulum. There is time to relax at the beach. Afterwards there is a briefing about the jaguar tour, which is followed up by dinner in the hotel.
Day 2: Sian ka´an & bike through jungle
After breakfast, the day starts with a amazing boat trip in Sian Ka´an reserve. After this fascinating boat tour, we go to Kantemó Maya town. Once in town, the trip continues through the jungle by bike. A stop is made at a cave, where you can see the amazing hanging snakes that feed on bats. After enjoying this amazing wildlife experience, the tour continues by bike to a beautiful lagoon. Here you enjoy an amazing canoe trip and look for crocodiles. This adventurous day ends with spending the night on a campsite by the lagoon in Kantemó. Overnight at jaguar camp.
Day 3: Cenote Azul
In the morning we go back to Kantemó by bike. There will be a breakfast in town, which is followed up by a car transfer to Bacalar. Upon arrival, you can swim in the Cenote Azul and enjoy lunch. After lunch, we will drive on to Ejido Laguna Om where the campsite is located. From there, a short hike around the area takes place, in search of animals. Overnight at jaguar camp.
Day 4: Looking for Jaguar trails & sharing knowledge
The day starts with an early breakfast and hike in the jungle looking for jaguar trails. Upon return to camp, there is time to rest and swim in the lagoon. After lunch, we stay at the camp, learning about jaguars, the jungle and other animals. Furthermore, we teach you about the research and conservation projects. In the afternoon, there is a hike into the jungle, followed up by dinner. Overnight at jaguar camp.
Day 5: Looking for jaguar trails, sharing knowledge & crocodile search
Again, the day starts with an early breakfast and hike in the jungle looking for jaguar trails and many other species. Upon return, there is time to relax and swim. Afterwards, we will share our knowledge about the jaguar, jungle, other animals and conservation efforts to help these magnificent animals. In the afternoon, a hike and dinner takes place in the jungle. By night, an exciting trip takes place when you go paddling looking for crocodiles. Overnight at jaguar camp.
Day 6: Hike looking for jaguar trails & transfer to Cancun
Day starts with an early breakfast, and depending on the previous day, hike in a different area on the look for jaguar trails. After this hike, we return to camp, pack and leave the campsite. On the way back to Cancun, we stop in Bacalar for lunch. We continue to Cancun. Overnight in Hotel Marriot Courtyard or similar.
Day 7: Transfer to airport
Private transfer to airport for your flight back.
