This is a specially designed tour for everyone who wants to see the nature and culture of the Yucatan Peninsula, but with the addition of enjoying the local cuisine.
On this trip you will get the chance to learn more about the Mayan Culture and communities and visit the most important archeological sites in the region: Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Coba and Tulum. In addition to them you will enjoy the biosphere nature reserve of Ria Largartos where you can see the biggest colony of flamingos in America.
Beside all of those activities, you will have the incredible opportunity to learn a lot about the local cuisine, try the dishes of Yucatan and even participate in a workshop where you can learn how to prepare them.

Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival in Cancun you will be welcomed by your guide and will be transfered to the hotel.
Day 2: Mayan Community
After breakfast we will depart to enjoy a Mayan community tour. During this day you will learn a lot about the Mayan traditions, customs and culture. You will meet locals and have the chance to experience the everyday life in a Mayan village. Moreover, the friendly people in the village will teach you how to cook ´Pollo PiBil¨ – traditional dish for the region!
At the end of the day we will snorkel and swim in a wonderful cenote located nearby.
Overnight in Cancun.
Day 3: Cooking class and Temazcal ceremony.
Depart to a cooking class in Cancun. Our professional chef will show you how can you prepare some of the most delicious dishes in Yucatan!
Enjoy the lunch prepared by you.
Departure to a Temazcal ceremony. You will have the opportunity to live an authentic ceremony of the ancestral Mayan culture, offered by the chaman of the community. You will also discover the customs, the house, the faiths and the lifestyle of the Mayas since their ancestors until nowadays.
Transfer back to hotel.
Day 4: Chichen Itza and Valladolid
Early departure to Chichen itza – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Lunch in a typical Mexican atmoshere where you can enjoy the Yucatan food , which through the centuries absorbed influences from all over the world— Europe, Cuba and New Orleans.
After the lunch we will visit another beautiful cenote where you can cool down in the crystal waters. Departure to Valladolid. Check in at a hotel and a city tour in Valladolid.
Dinner in a local restaurant in Valladolid, where once again you will get the opportunity to taste the incredible Yucatan food!
Overnight in Valladolid.
Day 5: Rio Lagartos
After breakfast we will depart to Rio Lagartos.
We will visit Ría Lagartos biosphere reserve where you will enjoy a great boat ride to see the biggest colony of flamingos in America as well as the attractive birds and wildlife!
Lunch at a local restaurant where you will learn more about the seafood in the region and get the chance to try it!
After lunch we will visit Ek Balam archeological site and after that we will swim in another beatiful cenote.
Overnight in Valladolid.
Day 6: Tulum
Breakfast—enjoy a nutricious breakfast in Yucatan style before we head to Tulum!
Visit the archaeological site of Tulum—the only Maya City that is located near the coast of the Caribbean Sea. To cool down you will have the chance to swim in a cenote!
Check in hotel and free time until dinner.
Dinner—The Dining Experience— Learn how to do cocktails, enjoy local beer and try many of the Yucatan dishes in a cosy dining environment where you wll not only taste and learn but have lots of fun!
Day 7: Departure
Transfer back to Cancun International Airport for your flight back.
